“ We have been regulars at D hot shoppe since the beginning. Today we picked up 3 rotis and they definitely tasted different. There’s a tinge of red to them and the side gravy was very red - see photo. Nothing close colour wise and taste wise. I’m not sure if something different was done but the gravy was very off and we didn’t like it at all. Well try again and hopefully it was just a mistake and not a change. I also included a picture of my last meal there you can see the gravy is brown and so much better. I have now been back and I must say it’s as awesome as ever! Everything was amazing as usual. Thank you to the team, well done! Best rotis, doubles, jerk chicken. ”
“ YUMMMMMY! This shoppe is hot. We live in waterloo and we look forward to our ikea trips because we know we're coming to eat the best doubles and stuffed roti. I stock up on their frozen roti for my own cooking. ”

“ Everything was fantastic! Bought some for some family that’s never had roti before and they have been converted and looking forward to the next round. ”
“ The D’Hot Shoppe has been one of my favourite restaurants ever and I have frequented them for over 10 years now. My favourite item is the Beef Roti, with gravy on the side, but there is also chicken, goat or vegetable roti. The roti wrap is made in house and the dough has split yellow pea in the middle which adds a nice texture. The roti filling is a mixture of curried meat, potato and gravy. I have tried the doubles, and Jamaican Patties too and both are great. The Jerk chicken is also popular. They do an amazing job and continually win the readers choice awards year over year. It’s a unique family owned concept of great quality food at reasonable prices and authentically Caribbean. ”
“ I absolutely love D Hot Shoppe! The food is authentic and delicious, with amazing flavors. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. The goat and chicken roti’s and Jamaican patties are my favorites, and they never disappoint. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a taste of home-cooked Caribbean cuisine. Can't wait to visit again! ”
